As a result of the illegal colonization policy towards the Nogai People, unfortunately, ordinary Nogaylar people suffer.
The Nogai People were deprived of political and simply human rights. An entire nation was artificially torn apart in several regions, not giving them the opportunity to live together, cherish their culture and language. Economic discrimination, forced mobilization, militarization of children, absolutely unnecessary for our people, a systemic violation of human rights, which cannot be tolerated any longer.
The protection of human rights for representatives of the Nogai People does not occur at all, or occurs for the sake of appearances, only with the approval of the government. The Institute of Human Rights Commissioners in the Russian Federation, unfortunately, has lost its essence, independence and effectiveness, as well as the trust of the people. As for the Nogai People, we were not given the opportunity to have our own Human Rights Commissioner at all. Therefore, on March 6, 2025, the Congress of Representatives of Nogaistan made a decision to elect an independent Ombudsman of Nogai People.
